Chicago: St. Stephen’s Knanaya Catholic Church, Orlando, Florida, won the First Prize in the Knanaya Nadavili Competition organized by the Cherupushpa Mission League (CML) Knanaya Regional Committee, USA, for children across the Knanaya Region.

St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Forane Church, San Jose, California, secured the Second Prize, while Christ the King Knanaya Catholic Church, Dallas, Texas, won the Third Prize.

The Popular Video Awards were presented to St. John Paul II Knanaya Catholic Mission, Sacramento, California, and Christ the King Knanaya Catholic Church, Dallas, Texas, in recognition of their outstanding audience appreciation.

The regional competitions were organized with the objective of helping children born and raised in the United States develop a deeper appreciation for the traditions, customs, and cultural heritage of the Knanaya community. Children from Knanaya parishes across the country enthusiastically participated in the event.

Rev. Fr. Thomas Mulavanal, Knanaya Regional Director and Vicar General, congratulated all the winners and participants for their outstanding efforts. The competitions were organized by the CML Regional Committee under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Bins Chethalil, CML Regional Director, and Cijoy Parappallil, General Organizer.
