Thiruvananthapuram: A one-day spiritual retreat titled “Ruah – Christine Retreat” was organized for the Sunday School students of St. Pius X Knanaya Catholic Church, Thiruvananthapuram, on Saturday, June 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The retreat was led by the Visitation Sisters of the Archdiocese of Kottayam – Sr. Poornima, Sr. Isabel, Sr. Gloria, and Sr. Tiny Maria. Through prayer, Bible reflections, praise and worship, interactive sessions, and spiritual activities, the students were encouraged to deepen their faith and strengthen their relationship with Christ.

The retreat was conducted under the guidance of the parish priest, Fr. Mithun Valiyapulinchackal. The arrangements were coordinated by Sunday School Headmaster Mr. Shaji Simon, along with catechism teachers Sr. Christo SVM, Sr. Rojin SJC, Mrs. Reenu Rejoy, Mrs. Sibi Binu, Mrs. Jyothy Dileep, Mrs. Kochumol Sanal, Mr. Pribin Jacob, and PTA President Mr. Binu Abraham.

The retreat proved to be a spiritually enriching experience, inspiring the students to grow in faith, Christian values, and commitment to their spiritual journey.
