Deacon Moses Puthuppallimyalil, son of P.K. Stephen and Lovely of the Puthuppallimyalil family and parishioners of the St. Stephen’s Knanaya Catholic Forane Church, Long Island, USA, will be ordained to the priesthood.
Moses completed his primary education in Chullikkara and his high school education in New York. He earned an Associate Degree in Engineering Science in the United States and later obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Philosophy from Queens College. Following his academic studies, he joined the Minor Seminary of the Archdiocese of Kottayam.
After earning a degree in Philosophy from Mangalapuzha Seminary, he pursued higher theological studies at St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dunwoodie, New York, where he completed his postgraduate formation.
The priestly ordination will take place on June 27 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Knanaya Catholic Forane Church, Long Island. The ordination will be conferred through the laying on of hands by His Grace Archbishop Mar Mathew Moolakkatt, Metropolitan Archbishop of Kottayam. Following the ordination, Father Moses will celebrate his First Holy Mass.
