Kozhikode: St. Mary’s English Medium School, Chevayur, emerged champions for the fifth consecutive time at the CISCE D-Zone Roller Skating Championship.
A total of 267 students from 26 schools across seven districts, stretching from Kasaragod to Thrissur, participated in the championship. The event, hosted by St. Mary’s English Medium School, Chevayur, was inaugurated by Dr. Prasanna Kumaran K., Principal, Government College of Physical Education.
The inaugural function was attended by Sr. Anees SJC, Principal of the school; Sr. Vinaya SJC, School Manager; Sanoop, Ward 24 Councillor; Anwar Sadiq, PTA Vice President; and Mahalakshmi, Vice Principal.
St. Mary’s English Medium School secured the championship title with 111 points. Christ Vidyanikethan School, Irinjalakuda, finished as runners-up with 89 points, while Model Public School, Kuriachira, secured third place with 36 points.
The valedictory function was attended by Fr. Joseph Thulambamakkil and Satheesh Pillai. The vote of thanks was delivered by Vice Principal Mahalakshmi.
