KCYL Kaipuzha Unit, has been adjudged the Best Unit in the Archdiocese of Kottayam and the Best Unit in Kaipuzha Forane for the 2024–2026 administrative term in recognition of its outstanding performance.

The prestigious honor was conferred in appreciation of the unit’s exemplary initiatives in the spiritual, social, charitable, and organizational spheres. The unit described the achievement as a recognition of the collective efforts of the parish community, the commitment of its youth, and the dedicated leadership that has guided its activities throughout the term.

The award recognizes the work carried out under the guidance of the present Unit Chaplain, Fr. Thomas Puthiyakunel, Assistant Chaplain Fr. Jefrin Thandasseril, Unit Director Mathew Lukose Mangalamkunnel, and Sister Advisor Sr. Kiran SJC. The unit committee, led by President Albin Biju Puthenpurackal, Vice President Ebin Chacko Kottayarickal, Secretary Christy Mano Mundackal, Joint Secretary Alveena Jose Kizhakke Ottakattil, and Treasurer Ebin Joy Chamakalayil, was instrumental in achieving this recognition.

Office bearers emphasized that this accomplishment is not the success of the present leadership alone, but the result of the collective dedication of everyone who worked tirelessly to strengthen the unit during the 2024–2026 term.

They also gratefully acknowledged the invaluable contributions of former Unit Chaplain Fr. Sabu Malithuruthil, former Assistant Chaplains Fr. Ebin Irappurath, Fr. Joseph Vellappallikuzhiyil, Fr. Sumal Elavunkachalil, and Fr. Jegin Kolangayil, former Unit Director Toby James, former Sister Advisors Sr. Sneha SJC and Sr. Starlit SVM, Lady Advisor Tessy Tomy Chathampadathil, as well as former office bearers, executive committee members, unit members, and all those whose support and cooperation made this remarkable achievement possible.
