Chicago: The conclusion of the Rosary Month was celebrated with devotion at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish in Chicago. The conclusion of the Rosary Month was celebrated on Friday evening, October 31st, with the main ceremony of the Bishop of the Syro-Malabar Diocese of Chicago, His Grace Mar Joy Alappatt. The Rosary, which lasted for ten days from October 1st to 10th, was celebrated with Holy Mass at 7:00 PM and Holy Mass at 8:15 AM on the following ten days. His Grace reminded us that it is a blessing from God that we were able to offer the Rosary every day in the month of October. He greeted everyone who came to participate in the conclusion of the Rosary Month with children on the evening of Friday, October 31st, when America is immersed in Halloween celebrations. Mar Mar Joy Alappatt congratulated the children and gave them gifts. Vicar. Fr. Siju Matakodil, Asst. Vicar Fr. Aneesh Maveliputthenpura, Parish Secretary Sister Shalom, and helpers Sabu Kattappuram, Binu Poothurayil, Lukes Poozhikunnel, George Mattathiparambil, and Nibin Vettikattil led the preparations and implementation of the Rosary Month.
