Tampa, Florida:The inauguration of the new Mission League (CML) year and the celebration of Mission Sunday were held with great enthusiasm at the Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Forane Church in Tampa. The Mission League activities for the year 2025–2026 were officially inaugurated by Parish Vicar Fr. Jose Adoppillil.

Cijoy Parappallil, National President and International Organizer of the Mission League, delivered the introductory notes. Sr. Sandra SVM, Regional Vice Director, along with Aliya Kandarapallil, Unit Organizer, and Ebin Thadathil also spoke on the occasion.

Newly elected office-bearers took their oath of service: Steve Poovathumkal (President), Marissa Mudeekunneel (Vice President), Mia Koonthamatthathil (Secretary), Amy Akkalkottaram (Joint Secretary), and Anston Azhakedath and Christian Kalliduckil (Executive Members).

A colorful mission rally, led by children waving flags and chanting slogans, added vibrancy and excitement to the celebration.

As part of the Mission Sunday observance, various stalls and activities were organized under the leadership of children and adults to raise mission funds. The events were coordinated by Sunday School Principal Saly Kulangara, teachers, and the parish executive committee.
