Tampa, FL: Catechism Sunday was solemnly celebrated at the Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Forane Church in Tampa. The occasion honored faith formation and recognized the vital role of Sunday School teachers in nurturing the spiritual lives of the children.
As part of the celebration, special prayers were offered, and catechism teachers were formally appreciated for their service. Holy Qurbana was celebrated by Fr. Joseph Olikkara, who led the faithful in prayer and thanksgiving.
Parish Vicar Fr. Jose Adoppillil, Sunday School Principal Saly Kulangara, Vice Principal Cijoy Parappallil, teachers’ representative Angelique Thomas Parayil, parents’ representative Raji Puthuparampil, and student representative Dylan Mudeekunnel addressed the gathering and shared reflections on the importance of faith education. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions.
