Chicago: Grand Parents Day was celebrated at the Bensonville Knanaya Catholic Foreign Parish. In the thanksgiving offering offered that day , the life example of Jesus’ grandfather and grandmother, Anna and Joachim, should be an inspiration to those who can be called Grand along with the God Parents, as the assistant vicar, Fr. Bins Chethalil reminded. Then, a special blessing was given to everyone. Then, a carol singing and visual display competition was held under the leadership of St. Stephen’s Koodarayogam Meeting.
