Chicago: A meeting of the Faith Formation School Principals of the Knanaya Catholic Region in the United States was held to review the region’s ongoing catechetical activities and to plan future programs.

Fr. Thomas Mulavanal, Vicar General of the Chicago Diocese and Director of the Knanaya Catholic Region, inaugurated the meeting. Saji Poothrukayil welcomed the participants.

Fr. Bins Chethalil, Regional Catechetical Director, and Cijoy Parappallil, Children’s Pious Organizations Regional Coordinator, led the discussions and addressed the gathering. The meeting provided an opportunity for the principals to share experiences, evaluate current Faith Formation initiatives, and discuss plans to strengthen catechetical ministry across the region.

The Knanaya Catholic Region currently has 17 Faith Formation Schools, serving more than 2,200 students with the dedicated support of approximately 450 teachers.
