Tampa: The Sunday School children of Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Forane Church, Tampa, celebrated Grandparents’ Day with love, gratitude, and prayer, honoring grandparents for their important role in passing on faith, family values, and traditions to younger generations.
Following the Malayalam Holy Qurbana celebrated by Fr. Jose Adoppillil, Parish Vicar, the children presented tokens of love and appreciation to the grandparents.
As part of the celebration, a Family Tree Activity was organized for all Sunday School students to help them discover their family roots and learn more about their ancestors. The children brought their family trees to church, offered them during the Holy Qurbana, and joined in a special prayer remembering their ancestors with gratitude.
The program was organized under the leadership of Sunday School Principal Cijoy Parappallil, Assistant Principal Ebin Thadathil, and Secretary Dustin Mudeekunnel, with the dedicated support and coordination of the catechism teachers.
