Ontario, Canada: Knanaya Catholics residing in the regions of Belleville, Kingston, and Trenton, located between Toronto and Montreal, came together to inaugurate the Sacred Heart Koodarayogam (Basic Christian Community).

The gathering was held at the residence of Jefin and Anu Mulayinkal under the leadership of Ajax Mission Director Fr. Mathew Meledathu. Members joined in prayer and discussion, marking the beginning of the new faith community.

During the meeting, Sumeesh Thomas Karanatt was elected President and Tina Manju Vanchiyil was elected Secretary of the Koodarayogam.

Fr. Mathew Meledathu emphasized that coming together every two to three months through Koodarayogam gatherings for prayer and fellowship would help strengthen community bonds, deepen faith, and foster greater unity among families in the region.
