Preparations are in full swing for the 16th National Convention of KCCNA, to be held in Fort Lauderdale. The steering committee has announced that the early bird registration will close on February 21, 2026.

The convention will take place at the Broward County Convention Center from August 6–9, 2026. This grand gathering is expected to be a historic moment for the Knanaya Catholic community in North America, celebrating faith, heritage, and unity. The event is jointly hosted by KCASF (Miami) and KCCCF (Tampa).

Thousands of community members from across the continent are expected to participate. The convention aims to offer a spiritually enriching and socially engaging experience for families, youth, and individuals alike. Organizers reported that more than 550 registrations have already been received.

After the early bird deadline, an additional $100 will be charged for family registrations and $50 for single registrations. Registration will be considered complete only after payment is made. Hotel rooms will be allotted based on the date of payment. Participants are therefore encouraged to register and complete payment as early as possible to secure the best accommodation options.

With an anticipated attendance of over 3,500 delegates, the convention is expected to stand as a powerful witness to the unity and strength of the Knanaya community.

KCCNA is led by President James Illikkal, Executive Vice President Siju Cheruvally, General Secretary Vipin Chaalunkal, Joint Secretary Susan Thengumtharayil, Treasurer Jojo Tharayil, Vice President Jacob Kusumalayam, and Joint Treasurer Jesni Kottiyanickal. Convention Chair Joby Ooralil, along with host unit presidents Jayamol Moosariparambil and James Thekkanath, and numerous committee members, are working tirelessly to make the event a grand success.
