Sripuram: The Cherupushpa Mission League (CML), Kannur Region, organised the BASORA 2K26 Mission Quiz for members of the Cherupushpa Mission League from the Malabar Region at the Barumariam Pastoral Centre, Sripuram.

Nine teams, each consisting of three members, competed in the quiz. The Chullikkara unit secured the first place, followed by Rajapuram in second place, Payyavoor Valiyapally in third place, and Christ Nagar in fourth place.

The valedictory session was inaugurated by Mar Joseph Pandarasseril, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Kottayam, who also distributed the prizes. Cash awards of ₹10,000, ₹7,000, ₹5,000, and ₹3,000 were presented to the teams securing the first four positions respectively, while the remaining teams received ₹1,000 each as a consolation prize.

The closing ceremony began with a welcome address by Rev. Fr. Sibin Koottakkallunkal, Regional Director of CML Kannur. Bineeth Wilson Adiyapallil, Regional President, delivered the felicitation address, and Mr. Sonu Joseph Chettikkathottathil, General Organiser, proposed the vote of thanks.

The programme was organised under the leadership of Sr. Christina SVM (Regional Vice Director), Joya Mol T. Baby (Vice President), Jwala Maria Syriac Poovathummoottil (Secretary), and Abhishek Binoy Mullur (Joint Secretary).
