Austria: The Austrian Knanaya Catholic Community (AKCC) has ushered in a new leadership team for the 2026–2028 term with the formation of its new Mother Mary Committee. The newly elected members officially assumed office after taking an oath administered by the Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Jijo Ilavumkunnel.

Following the oath-taking ceremony, a meeting was held during which the new office bearers formally took charge of their respective responsibilities. The new leadership aims to strengthen the spiritual life of the community while preserving the unique identity and traditions of the Knanaya Catholic faithful in Austria.

The newly elected committee assured the community that, grounded in faith, they will actively work to preserve the Knanaya identity in Austria while organizing innovative and meaningful programs in the coming years.
