HOUSTON: The North American Knanaya Catholic Region has announced the launch of registration for its special family cruise, “Cruising Alaska Together,” scheduled from June 13 to June 20, 2027. The seven-day voyage will take place aboard the luxurious Star Princess cruise ship, departing from and returning to Seattle, Washington.
The cruise is being organized with the aim of strengthening family bonds, fostering faith, and providing an opportunity for Knanaya Catholic families across the region to enjoy fellowship and recreation together. The program will include daily Holy Mass, faith-based seminars, family activities, and a variety of entertainment programs. Special events are also being planned for children and youth to encourage friendship and community building.
The itinerary features some of Alaska’s most breathtaking destinations, including Ketchikan, Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier, Juneau, Skagway, and Victoria, Canada, offering participants a unique opportunity to experience Alaska’s majestic glaciers, wildlife, and natural beauty.
Group rates are as follows:
- Interior Room: $1,150–$1,250 per person (double occupancy)
- Ocean View Room: $1,675 per person
The rates include all port fees and taxes. However, gratuities and airfare are not included and must be arranged separately.
Organizers noted that discounted group-rate cabins are limited and encouraged interested families to complete their reservations as early as possible.
