Tampa: Catechetical Sunday was celebrated with gratitude and joy at Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Forane Church, Tampa, on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Following the English Holy Qurbana, all the catechists of the parish were recognized and honored for their dedicated service in the faith formation of children and youth. The celebration provided a special opportunity for the parish community to express its appreciation for the teachers who generously share their time, talents, and faith with the younger generation.

Parish Vicar Fr. Joseph Adoppillil, Sunday School Principal Cijoy Parappallil, parent representative Linu Kaithamalayil, student representative Jevin Pazhampallil, and teacher representatives Ashley Puthuppallymyalil and Angelique Thomas addressed the gathering and shared reflections on the importance of catechetical ministry.

The celebration was also a meaningful occasion to reflect on the mission of Sunday School and to thank God for the commitment of the catechists, parents, students, and parish community in nurturing the Catholic faith and passing it on to the next generation.
