Knanaya Region Day Celebration: Quiz Competition Organized

Chicago: The Knanaya Region of North America is organizing an online quiz competition in conjunction with the celebration of Knanaya Day. Catechism students from fourth grade and above from parishes and missions in the Knanaya Catholic Region can participate in the competition, which will be held on May 11th. The competition is organized by the Cherupushpa Mission League Knanaya Regional Committee.
The Knanaya Region was established in the Diocese of Chicago on April 30, 2006, for the entire Knanaya Catholic community in the United States. Fr. Abraham Mutholath was appointed as the first director of the region and led the establishment of many Knanaya churches. Since 2014, Fr. Thomas Mulavanal has been serving as the director and vicar general of the Knanaya Region with great distinction. As part of its growth, the Knanaya Region today has 15 parish churches and 7 missions in five parishes. The regional committee of the Cherupushpa Mission League came into existence five years ago and the Mission League organization has been very active in all the parishes of the Knanaya Region.
