California: St. Mary’ Knanaya Catholic Church in San Jose, California, USAT is celebrating the Forane Fest on Saturday, October 19.

This arts festival with various competitions starts on October 19, Saturday, from 9 am to 5 pm. The fest kicks off with a Holy Mass at 9 am followed by a flash mob led by parishioners from San Jose, Los Angeles and Sacramento.

The competition is held in the categories for singing, speech, painting, costume, Bible quiz, Margamkali, Purathanapattu and Bible drama. There are individual and group competitions.
Drawing and fancy dress competitions are held for Kinder Garten children.
