Chicago: A quiz competition was organized under the auspices of Cherupushpa Mission League at St. Mary’s Knanaya  Catholic Parish, Chicago. 12 teams from 12 groups in the parish of CML participated in the quiz competition which was held to mark the culmination of last year’s extensive activities in the parish . The CML St. Mary’s group consisting of Sandra Kunnasseril, Joseph Mappleth and Isaac Mattathill bagged the first prize in the final competition which was held in three rounds. The CML St. Stephen’s group consisting of Andrew Theekumkattil, Danny Valthat and Nathan Palliyarutundathil took second place. The CML Mother Teresa group consisting of Elvia Chelamalail, Megan Maniatell and Jennifer Kochikunnel bagged the third position. Apart from the competition winners, awards were also presented to CML members who had transcribed the gospel for 29 consecutive weeks and submitted it to the parish, and Jennifer Kochukunnel, who had completed the most beautiful transcribing of the gospel. St. Mary’s Group Coordinators CG Myalil and Leah Kunnassery were also felicitated with prizes for their best participation .
