Chicago: Bishop Mar Kurien Vayalumkal, who came for a short visit to participate in the main feast of St. Mary’s Knanaya Church, specially praised the activities of the Mission League Unit of St. Mary’s Parish. All the best to the Mission League Unit, which is working so commendably in the Parish of Saint Marys, and all the good works of charity that have been organized during this time.
About 180 students from the 4th to 8th class of Sunday School are members of the Mission League organization. The parish has a system where these children are divided into 12 sub-groups of 15 children and each group appoints a group leader and an executive committee of five members.
This committee is responsible for all the activities of the Mission League.
Every year, the unit directors are planning activities for the children, which include faith training, personal development and various kinds of charity programs and pilgrimages, giving priority to the slogans of the organization, love, tolerance, service and sacrifice.

The Unit Directors Jojo Analil, Sister Jessina and Surya Karikulam, under the guidance of the Parish Vicar Father Siju Mukkodial, together with the catechism teachers, are taking the helm of the activities of the Mission League.
