Houston : A Legion of Mary seminar was held at St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church . President Mrs. Lata Makil led the classes . In the two- day seminar held at the church parish hall , Lata Makil spoke in detail about what the Legion of Mary is and the need for the organization in this era . Mrs. Lata Makil said that the members of the Legion of Mary organization are committed to move forward through the intercession of the Mother by dedicating all the families to  the Mother , including the entire parish community . She also explained the importance of interceding with the Mother for the unity and cohesion of the parish and for the spiritual and material growth of the parish community .
