CHICAGO: Chicago St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church began the Christmas carol of the year. Fr. Siju Mudakkodil reminded that the Christmas carol is a house-to-house procession announcing the birth of Jesus Christ. V. After Mass, the first Christmas carol was performed in the church under the auspices of St. Xavier’s Koodara Yogam. The funds collected from this year’s carol are intended to be used for the renovation of the church’s facade and the activities of various ministries in the parish.
