San Jose, California: Mission Day was celebrated on Sunday, November 17, under the leadership of the Cherupushpa Mission League at St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church, commemorating the words of Jesus to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Vicar Fr: Jamie Pudussery led a special prayer in the middle of the mass and then the parishioners gathered in the hall to celebrate Mission Day.

Cherupushpa Mission League is a Catholic lay organization started in 1947 with the purpose of promoting the faith and activities of the Catholic Church among the common people, especially among the children, and thereby becoming a leader in the missionary activities of the Catholic Church. Today this organization is present in many parts of the world.
