In the inaugural North American Knanaya  Region Inter-Church Cricket Tournament, Sacred Heart Canada defeated St. Mary’s Rockland by 40 runs to win the title. The winning Sacred Heart Canada team received $2,500 sponsored by a   family and  O.C. Joseph Memorial Trophy was also presented.

Runner Up St. Mary’s Rockland Team $1000 Sponsored by Baby & Salome Ural, Second Runner Up St. Mary’s Detroit Team $750 Sponsored by New York Social Club, Third Runner Up Christ the King New Jersey Team Sponsored by Sanjoy Augustine (C.P.A.) Received $500.

The Inter-Church Cricket Tournament was organized under the leadership of the Men’s Ministry of St. Stephen’s Knanaya  Catholic Church,, Long Island. On Saturday, September 28, 2024, 7 teams from different parishes in North America participated in Brierley Park near the church.

New York Senator Kevin Thomas was the chief guest at the award ceremony.
