CHICAGO: This coming Sunday, September 1st, the Feast of the Harvest is celebrated at the Sacred HeartKnanaya Catholic Forane Church in Bensenville. The center is run in support of sub-activities that help many poor people under the leadership of the Vincent de Paul Society of the parish. The parish faith community presents the products grown on their farmland. Parishioners then buy it and donate it to their charity through Vincent de Paul. Naduthalathirunaal is celebrated as a festival of gratitude to the lord of the harvest. The Vincent de Paul activities in the parish are led by Liju Mathew, Benoy Kizhakkanadi, Mathew Ediyal, Thomas Thevarmatathim and Jimmy Mullankuzhi.
