Mrala: Platinum Jubilee celebrations of St. Peter and Paul’s Knanaya  Catholic Church was inaugurated by  Kottayam Archdiocese Auxiliary Bishop Mar Joseph Pandaraseril. The meeting was presided over by Vicar Fr. Biji Pallonnil. Jubilee Convener Nimmichan Vadakkumcheri, Punnanthanam Church Vicar Fr. James Panachikal and Jubilee Secretary Sabu Thenamkara spoke. Inauguration of the Jubilee  fund collection  and the distribution of the jubilee torch to the presidents of Koodara Yogam was also held on the occasion. Jubilee song singing by 75 people was also held. On the occasion of the Jubilee, a lamp procession was conducted from Chungam Church to Mrala.
