Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at St. Mary's Parish, Chicago

CHICAGO: Feast of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Parish, Chicago. The festivities began with Holy Mass offered by Fr. Renny Kattel.Fr. Siju Mudakkodil, the vicar hoisted the flag. A Christian Thiruvathira was performed by the women of the St. Jude Koodarayogam.

The Raza Qrbana on August 18, will be presided over by Archbishop Kurien Vialungal, a member of the Archdiocese of Kottayam and now serving as Vatican Ambassador to Algeria and Tunisia.

Fr Bins Chethalil (Sacred Heart Knanaya Parish, Chicago), Rev. Fr. Boban Vattampurath (St. Anthony’s Knanaya Parish, San Antonio), Rev. Fr. Joshi Valiyaveetil (St. Mary’s Knanaya Parish, Houston) will preside over the liturgies on various days.
