Kottayam Archdiocese Metropolitan Mar Mathew Mulakat said that Mar Thomas Tharail, who passed away on July 26, 1975, was a great shepherd who left a special mark on the path of faith. On the occasion of the 50th death anniversary he was speaking at the Christ the King Cathedral in Kottayam. He said that the far-sighted contributions to the growth and development of the church, community and society are immeasurable and the fact that the society is still experiencing their results increases the relevance of his work.
