Houston: The feast of Saint Carlos Acutus, the patron saint of youth, was celebrated at St. Mary’s  Knanaya Catholic Church. The first feast of Saint Carlos Acutus, who was declared a saint by the Catholic Church on September 7, 2025, was celebrated by all the youth in the parish on October 12.
The feast was held as part of the main feast held in the name of the Holy Mother of God at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Knanaya, Forona.

Before the Holy Mass, the youth and children laid flowers and prayed before the image of Saint Carlos Acutes. Assistant Vicar Fr. Joshi Valiyaveetil was the main celebrant for the feast. This year’s feast is being celebrated by all the youth of the parish as Prasudentimas.
