Chicago: The Knanaya Catholic Region of North America organized a Vincent de Paul Day gathering in connection with the feast of St. Vincent de Paul. Fr. Thomas Mulavanal, Vicar General of the Diocese of Chicago and Director of the Knanaya Region, inaugurated the programs. Fr. Bins Chethalil welcomed everyone to the gathering.
The President of the Kottayam Archdiocese, Tom Nandikunnel, spoke about the various working methods of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (S. S. V. P.) organization and shared his experiences. Representatives of the S. S. V. P. from various parishes and missions in the Knanaya region participated in the program. Fr. Jamie Puthusseril, Spiritual Director of the Vincent de Paul Society, Knanaya region, coordinated the meeting.
