The Knanaya Catholic Youth League of North America (KCYLNA) Summit 2025 is poised to become a historic milestone in the organization’s journey, with preparations underway for what is set to be the largest KCYLNA summit ever held.
Scheduled from December 19 to 22, 2025, at the Cohutta Springs Retreat Center in Georgia, the summit has already recorded over 350 registered youth participants, marking an unprecedented level of engagement and enthusiasm among Knanaya Catholic youth across North America.
Led by KCYLNA President Alvin Pinarkayil of Chicago and an energetic executive team, expectations for the summit are exceptionally high. Registration for the event was completed within just 7–8 minutes, a remarkable achievement that opens a new chapter in KCYLNA history and reflects the growing passion, unity, and commitment of the youth toward the organization.
The summit will feature a vibrant mix of faith, leadership, culture, and sports. Highlight events include the much-anticipated “Battle of the Cities” stage competition and a basketball championship tournament featuring 12 teams. Organizers believe these events will foster unity, healthy competition, and leadership skills among participants.
In addition to spiritual formation and leadership development sessions, the summit will offer a wide range of youth-focused recreational and experiential activities, including zip-lining, canoeing, pontoon boat rides, a 360-degree photo booth, professional photo booth services, and henna artists—ensuring a holistic and memorable experience for all attendees.
The KCYLNA Executive Committee has expressed pride in witnessing this powerful resurgence of youth involvement. With record-breaking participation and innovative programming, KCYLNA Summit 2025 is set to stand as the largest and most impactful summit in KCYLNA history.
According to KCCNA General Secretary Vipin Chalunkal, KCCNA President James Illikkal, along with other executive committee members, will attend the summit to provide guidance, encouragement, and support to the talented young leaders who are preparing to shape the future growth of KCCNA.
