Miami: The inaugural function of the Knanaya Catholic Association of South Florida was held on Saturday evening, April 5th at the Knanaya Center. KCCNA President James Illikkal inaugurated the general meeting. James Illikkal wished that the new committee would be able to move forward with new programs while preserving the uniqueness and traditions of the Knanaya community. He requested all the support of the Miami Association for the future activities of the KCCNA. James Illikkal called for giving priority to programs that will attract the younger generation for the survival of the Knanaya community.
Association President Aby Thekkanadt presided over the meeting. Aby Thekkanadath recalled the selfless work of the past leaders who have led the organization from its inception to the present. A gold coin will be given as a reward to the newly born children of married couples belonging to this organization till December 31, 2026. Our goal is to bring everyone, including children, youth and women, to leadership. Everyone is a leader, that is our motto. AB Thekkanadt announced in his presidential speech. Spiritual Director Fr. Saji Pinarkkayil delivered the benediction discourse. Fr. Saji Pinarkkayil suggested that the church and the organization should work together in unity for the growth of the community.
