The Mission League children of Christ the King Catholic Parish in Dallas are organizing a Mission Carnival to prepare a “field of mercy”. On Mission Sunday, the children will set up mission stalls and the proceeds from these will be donated to poor farmers.
“Karunya Nilam” project. Under the leadership of Fr. David Chiramel, poor farmers are given 10 cents of land for cultivation, vegetable seedlings are planted, fences are built around them and protected for a year. They can sell the products they grow there and earn money. Executive members Roy Luke Kalathil, Meryl Kulangara, Raisa Kodunnanamkunnel, Emily Puthan Mathil, and Tresa Chamakallayil will lead the faith trainers along with them. Vicar Fr. Bins Chethalil will make arrangements for the Mission Carnival.
