The annual general meeting of the Knanaya Catholic Congress Western Ontario was held on October 26 (Sunday) at the Knanaya Thomman Parish Hall in London. The meeting was presided over by President Feby Thaikkath and welcomed by Vice President Sibi Mulayingal. General Secretary Majeesh Keezhadathumalayil presented the annual report and Joint Treasurer Jibin Patherechira presented the annual accounts. The report of the Women’s Forum was presented by President Jesli Puthanpura and the KCYL report was presented by President Kristy Attummel. Students who completed their graduation in Grade 8 and Grade 12 were congratulated and presented with gifts. SH Church Vicar Father Saji Chazhissery delivered the benediction address. Individuals who had supported the organization in various fields in the past years were honored at the event. Abhilash Mangalat, Benish Maleparambil, Preet Poothattel and Michael Puthenparambil, who especially supported the organization by providing sponsorship, were honored with special thanks and appreciation. In the subsequent discussion, a review of the various programs organized last year and plans for the coming year were explained. The Board of Directors thanked the outgoing trustee Mr. Sibu Thalivel on behalf of the organization and presented him with a gift. Mr. Jayamon Kaithakuzhi, who was elected as the trustee for the next three years, took the oath of office. Joint Secretary Jose Mon Thekkilakkattil delivered the vote of thanks and concluded the meeting. The ceremony ended with lunch.
