The Mother’s Day celebration at Sacred Heart of Knanaya Catholic Church in Bensonville, Chicago was marked by creativity. After the Mass on Mother’s Day, the Bishop of the Diocese of Chicago, Mar. Joy Alappat prayed and blessed all the mothers with flowers.’ Winners of the photo shoot competition, Bina & Amal Perungelil, Cheryl Thannikuzhippil, Stephanie Thannikuzhippil, Alfie Illikunumpurum, Megha Mutholam and Reshma Kulathilkarot, who are celebrating Mother’s Day for the first time, were specially honored. Then the mothers were escorted to the hall with the Men’s Ministry Chendamela.
