MELBOURNE: Melbourne’s St Mary’s Catholic Parish celebrates its 10th anniversary, with the welcoming team set for a year-long celebration. The official inauguration was performed by Fr. Prince Thypurayidathil , Parish Priest of St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Church. Mr. Shinoy Manjankal is elected as the General Convenor, and an extensive committee was formed to lead the year-long celebrations.
Founded by Rev. Dennis Hart, who was the Archbishop of Melbourne, St. Mary’s Knanaya Catholic Mission, has grown and become a parish, two centers in Melbourne itself, keeping the parish community together, conducting Holy Mass and Bible lessons for children. The meeting remembered , Priests, Parish Council Members and Lay Sisters who worked tirelessly for the all-round growth of this parish. Parish Secretary Phillip Kurikotil gave a welcome speech and Ashish Cyriak, the Trustee, gave the vote of thanks for the meeting.
