London: A Second Chaplaincy based in London is erected for Knanaya Catholics who live in the territory of Archdiocese of West Minster, Southwark and Brentwood Diocese. It was inaugurated during the mass celebrated by Fr.Saji Malayilputhenpurayil, the Knanaya Vicar General of Pristine Syro Malabar Diocese and Fr. Mathew Kattiyangal, the London Knanaya Chaplain, in St.Albanus Catholic church at Elan Park in East London. The ceremony was organised under the leadership of London and Kent Knanaya Regions. The Choir was led by the KCYL of East London. The office bearers of London and Kent Region, namely, Madhu Mathew Pullat Kalayil, Francise Simon Machanickal, Salu Abraham Nirappel and Mathew Pulikkathottiyil led the programme. Francise Machanikkal welcomed and Shino Kuriakose Kunnumpuram thanked the gathering. Those who were present in the function include Finil Thomas (UKCC Joint Treasurer), Cyril Padapurakkal, Mathew Villoothara, Jijo Madhavappally, Philip Poothrukayil, Saji Uthup, Reji Moolakkatt (Ex Officials of UKCC and LKCA). The function ended with the Snehavirunnu.
